Food and Drink Traders
NEW FOR 2017 – Introducing the Stirling Foodie Fest, an exclusive food and drink area within our Traders Village solely for Scotland’s Food and Drink producers. This NEW marqueed area is completely covered allowing you to showcase your produce to visitors in comfort, under cover which will increase their dwell time and chances of purchasing your product.
Each year Scotland hosts thousands of events of all shapes and sizes. Research shows that visitors to Scotland want to sample and buy traditional, Scottish dishes, regional specialities and fresh, locally-sourced food. The Food Charter for events aims to raise the standard and provenance of food and drink at events to ensure a better visitor experience.
Past visitor’s to our event rated the food and drink offering at a healthy ‘19% Very Good’ and ‘46% Good’. We aim to build on this success in 2017 by encouraging up to 25 high quality artisan style food and drink traders to apply, with a proven track record in trading at outdoor events and festivals and who are committed to the Food Charter.
If you can sign up to the Food Charter and meet our requirements, Stirling Highland Games would welcome a Food & Drink Traders Application from you.
