Stirling Highland Games continues to attract thousands of visitors to our annual event in August. Our tradition extends back to 1870 when the first highland games event was held in Wellgreen in Stirling. As we continue to market Stirling as a destination our official highladn games event now forms part of Sruighlea, Stirling Summer Festival. The Festival has evolved from the success of the Stirling Highland Games event and so we welcome your interest being part of the games and Stirling’s history. i
Sruighlea [Sreee-lie] Stirling’s Summer Festival event has a simple aim of attracting 10,000 visitors to the event by 2020 and we want you to be part of the attraction.
Many of our visitors are from throughout the UK as well as overseas. They are interested in seeing and buying quality products directly from the people that make them and most of them would welcome a chat about its provenance.

Be Part of the Traders Experience
Thank you for your interest in our arts / crafts / business market at Stirling Highland Games. Traders Information and Applications for consideration can be found below.
Traders will be allocated space within the respective areas, designed to maximise customer dwell time and encourage sales. We are seeking to appoint a diverse range of traders to showcase the widest possible choice to our visitors.
We especially want to hear from traders if you can tell our visitors about how you source and produce the products you have to offer. We will be carefully selecting our traders to ensure our visitors take home the best quality and variety of Scottish product.
The Foodie Festival walk around will be chaired by Glasgow Hereld food critic, Cate Devine again and celebrity Chef, TBC. We are looking at ways to engage more visitors with producers during the day which may include a direct chat or a tasting session with the producer. You don’t need to do this but we are always looking at ways to drive more business sales your way.
We encourage traders to apply from Scottish Arts and Crafts, Scottish Clans and local sports with a view to appealing to both a Scottish audience as well as other visiting nations.
Priority is given to traders that uphold the principles of FVSE’s event ethos.
Traders products should be available to purchase via cash, with traders encouraged to offer card provision too (please note Wi-Fi connection is not available).
Submission deadlines: First round applications approved on or before 29th March 2019. Second round applications approved on or before 28th June 2019.
