Stirling Highland Games depends on securing funding each year to deliver its August event. Since 2014, with the support of Ceangail CIC, who work behind the scenes to obtain essential funding, we have successfully re-established and sustained the Games.
Our funders share our vision and passion to keep the Stirling Highland Games event alive, benefiting more than just the event as it provides support for many businesses and sectors in the area. We focus on delivering these 3 areas of the event: our traditional highland games competitions; our amazing trader’s village featuring Scottish arts and crafts plus some of Scotland’s award-winning food and drink producers; and lastly our growing creative arts showcases.
As Stirling’s leading annual cultural sporting event, we welcome our Funders support. The Stirling Highland Games committee is hugely grateful to all of funders, each of whom plays a vital role in the jigsaw that helps us grow our transformational tourism event.

Event Funders
Without the support from our Funders or individuals each year, we would struggle to cover the increasing event supply chain costs. We appreciate all the funding and donations we receive each year.
If your business is keen to help keep Stirling’s leading annual outdoor cultural Highland games event going, please get in touch with us to discuss the options or if you as an individual would like to show your support, please use our Donorbox account.
Your business can support the event in various ways, be it with sponsorship, a contra deal, or donations. We have several funder packages, including Patron, Partner, Supporting Partner, Supporter and Friend of SHG.
You might not think it would make a difference but taking some advertising in our games programme or banner space on site allows us to continue to raise the necessary annual funds and every little penny helps.
